A low effort, high comfort dish

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Measure 100ml of dashi stock
  2. Add a dash of mirin and soy sauce
  3. Beat an egg into the above mixture
  4. Sieve the mixture into the bowl for steaming
  5. Place bowl in steamer / pot with steaming rack and water on low heat
  6. Steam till solid. When mostly solid, add mushroom slices on the top then steam till mushrooms are softened
  7. Serve with steamed rice or steamed broccoli
