Daniel’s Soontofu (Soft Tofu) Soup
Ingredients
I never measure these, here are some rough guesses but feel free to experiment
- 2 cups water
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
- MSG
- A lot of korean chili flake
- 1-1.5 tbsp soy sauce
- 0.5 cup of chopped kimchi
- lots of minced garlic
- 0.5 tbsp sugar
- Extra Soft Tofu (Soon tofu)
- 2 chopped green onions
- Roasted sesame seeds
Instructions
- Heat pot and add olive oil
- Add kimchi to pot once oil is hot
- Saute for ~3 minutes and add korean chili flake, garlic, and sugar
- Add water, MSG, soy sauce
- Let boil, add any other toppings you might want (potatotes, mushrooms, and eggs are yummy)
- Once toppings are fully cooked, add chopped green onion, soon tofu, and korean chili flake to taste
- Take off heat, add sesame oil and sesame seeds
- Serve with a bowl of rice
