Eric’s Scallion Pancake (pajeon)
Korean Scallion Pancakes
Ingredients
- Green Onions
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tbsp soybean paste
- 1/2 ts sugar
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- 10 stalks of green onions
Instructions
- Wash and cut green onions into long strips
- Mix flour, water, soybean paste, sugar
- Heat up a pan with vegetable oil inside
- Place the green onions into the pan so they make a rectangular shape
- Pour batter into pan
- Flip pancake once pancake turns crispy and golden on the bottom
- Cook for a few more minutes until everything is crispy and golden
- Serve and enjoy with a side of soy sauce.
