Liam’s French Toast
This was my breakfast this morning, don’t judge me.
Ingredents
- 4 slices of brioche bread
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup of milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbs ground nutmeg
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Butter for pan
Instructions
- Whisk eggs, milk, vanilla and spices into a large bowl.
- Dip bread into mixture for approximately 2 minutes on each side, ensure you whisk before placing bread.
- On medium-high heat melt butter and fry bread until golden-brown (approximately 3-4 minuntes on each side). Do not overcrowd pan.
- Serve with berry compote.
- Dig in!
