Garrett Short’s French Toast

This is a pretty fancy french toast that is very good.

Ingredients

• 3 eggs
• 2 egg yolks
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
• 3/2 tablespoons of brown sugar
• 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
• 3/4 cup milk
• ~1/4 cup of nutella
• Brioche bread
• 1/4 cup of cinnamon sugar mixture

Instructions

1. Preheat a pan to medium heat
2. Mix together eggs, egg yolks, cinnamon, sea salt, and brown sugar in a bowl.
3. Slice in the middle of your brioche bread slice creating a pocket
4. Fill this pocket with your desired amount of nutella
5. Dunk your stuffed bread slice into your egg mixture
6. Place your bread onto the pan and cook each side until golden brown
7. Remove your french toast from the pan and place it into your cinnamon sugar and cover
