Bohan’s Crispy Pork Belly
This is a delicious crispy pork belly with a savory sauce!
Ingredients
- Pork Belly
- Honey
- Soy Sauce
- Garlic
- Canola Oil
- OPTIONAL green onions
- OPTIONAL sesame seeds
Instructions
- Slice the pork belly into bite-sized pieces. You may want to cut off large chunks of fat, if preferred.
- Pour some oil into a pan and heat on high. When the oil is hot, lay the slices of pork belly into the oil. Do not overcrowd the pan.
- Pan fry for 5 minutes on each side. This will get the slices nice and crispy.
- Meanwhile, prepare the sauce. Dice the garlic into small pieces.
- In a bowl, mix equal parts honey and soy sauce, making sure to mix well. Add the garlic when fully mixed.
- Remove the pork belly from the pan and clean the pan/get a new pan.
- Keep the heat on medium and toss the crispy pork in the sauce. Cook down the sauce to desired thickness.
- OPTIONAL - garnish with green onions and sesame seeds
Serve while hot! Enjoy!
