Jacob’s breakfast panini
This kinda makes you feel sick but I also use way too much butter/mayo sometimes :/
Ingredients
- 2 slices of bread
- 1 egg
- 1 handful of cheese
- 3 tablespoons of mayo (or less if you are sane) / 1 dollop butter
- As much sausage as you desire
Instructions
- Heat up a non-stick pan on medium-low heat. A lid may be helpful.
- Crack egg into pan (add any sour cream, water, or egg if you wish; do not add any cheese here, it’ll make the egg soggy)
- Heat slowly or scrape bottom of pan periodically to ensure egg does not burn; cook until egg is solid.
- Remove egg from pan and set aside, clean pan.
- Add sausage (precoooked) to pan with a splash of water, heat until water mostly boils off and sausage is warm inside.
- Set sausage aside and set pan to medium heat.
- Apply mayo to both sides of both pieces of bread
- Place 1 slice bread in pan (complete the next steps quickly)
- Place egg, sausage, and cheese on top, finishing the sandwitch with the other break slice.
- Wait untill you can faintly smell burning (or check it if you are nervous, you should smell it before it actually burns)
- Flip and cook the other side the same way
- Take out and eat
You will appreciate it, if you don’t you didn’t use enough mayo.
