Yichen’s Medium Ribeye Steak
How to pan and oven a ribeye steak
Ingredients
- 1 Choice Ribeye Steak from Costco (without bone and about 1.5inch thick, less than a bound)
- 1/4 Cup Butter
- Salt
- Black Pepper
- Garlic
- Olive oil
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 450F
- Bring the steak from the freeze to the Refrigerator a night before
- Bring the steak to room temperatrue before 20 mins from cooking
- Dry the steak with kitchen towels
- Season the steak with salt and black pepper on both sides
- Smoking hot pan
- A touch of olive oil in and then sear 2 mins for both sides
- Add butter into the pan and put the steak into the oven
- Oven for 7min
- Let it rest for 5 mins
