Macbeth ‘n’ Cheese
A warm and hearty Scottish stew for the power aspiring, best prepared between three enchanting friends. Makes 1 brew.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Poisn’d toad
- 1/2 lb Fillet of fenny snake
- 4 Eye of newt
- 3 oz Toe of frog
- 2 tsbp Wool of bat
- 2 Tongue of dog
- 1 Adder’s fork
- 3/4 cup Blind-worm’s sting
- 2 Lizard’s leg
- 5 oz Owlet’s wing
- 5 Scale of dragon
- 1/2 cup Tooth of wolf
- 3 Witches’ mummy
- 1 Maw and gulf of ravin’d salt-sea shark
- 4 oz Root of hemlock
- 1 tsp Gall of goat
- 2 Slips of yew
- 1/4 cup Tiger’s chaudron
- 3 cup Gouda
Instructions
- Bring cauldron to boil
- Throw in poisn’d toad
- Allow cauldron to bubble
- Boil and bake in fillet of fenny snake
- Mix in eye of newt, toe of frog, wool of bat, tongue of dog, adder’s fork, blind-worm’s sting, lizard’s leg, owlet’s wing
- Allow to boil and bubble
- Add scale of dragon, tooth of wolf, witches’ mummy, maw and gulf of ravin’d salt-sea shark
- Stir until gruel is thick and slab
- Add tiger’s chaudron
- Toil and trouble, toil and trouble
- Cool with gouda until firm and good
Serve with dash of premonition, to taste.
