Alexander’s Armenian Lahmajun
Ingredients
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 onions (chopped)
- 1 green pepper (chopped)
- 1 lbs ground lamb
- 1 can of tomato paste
- 3 tomatoes (diced)
- parsley leaves
- cumin
- cayenne
- salt
- pepper
- flour tortillas
Instructions
- Heat oven to 400 degrees F
- Mince the garlic gloves using a food processor
- Add the onion and green pepper to the food processor and mix
- Add the lamb, tomato paste, tomatoes, parsley, cumin, cayenne, salt, and pepper to the food processor
- Mix throughouly until the consistency is wet and pasty (similar to hummus)
- Spread a thin layer of the mixture onto flour tortillas
- Bake in the oven for 8 to 10 minutes
- Serve with chopped lettuce and lemon
