Ingredients
- 2 T oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 inch ginger, minced
- 2 lb ground turkey or chicken
- 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
- 1 cauliflower, cut into small florets
- 1/2 cup frozen peas
- 3.5 t coriander
- 1 t turmeric
- 1 3/4 t red chili pepper
- 2 t salt
- 1/3 cup water
Instructions
- Cook onion, bell pepper and ginger until tender. Add meat and brown. Drain the fat.
- Add tomatoes, spices and 1/3 cup water. Simmer a while so spices cook into meat.
- Add cauliflower or peas or both and cover to steam. Vegetables should be soft.
- Uncover and simmer until the liquid is gone.
