Alex’s Cheese Crackers
I love cheez-its, and this is a quick an easy recipe for a nice snack!
Ingredients
- 8 oz shredded cheese
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter at room temperature
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup flour
- 2 tbsp ice water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Combine cheese, butter, and salt in large bowl.
- Once combined, mix in flour and add one tablespoon of ice water at a time. (Add more water if dough is dry)
- Wrap dough and place in fridge to chill for at least 30 minutes.
- Roll out dough to be 1/8” thick and pinch any cracks.
- Cut into 1” squares and line on baking sheet.
- Poke holes in the center of each cracker to allow proper venting.
- Bake for 13 minutes and enjoy!
