Braised Pork Belly

A classic Chinese dish with rich flavor, best served with rice.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Cut the pork belly into small cubes.
  2. Boil the pork for 2 to 3 minutes to remove impurities, then drain.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and add sugar. Stir until it turns light brown.
  4. Add pork and stir to coat with caramelized sugar.
  5. Add soy sauce, dark soy sauce, ginger, and garlic.
  6. Add water and bring to a boil.
  7. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes.
  8. Cook until the sauce thickens.
