Beef Stroganoff
This beef stroganoff is delicious, easy, and the perfect comfort food after a long day.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 slices cooked bacon, chopped
- 8 oz fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 1/2 tbsp flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp paprika
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1-2 cups milk
Instructions
- Sauté mushrooms and butter in skillet over high heat until liquid dissolves and mushrooms are brown. Remove from skillet.
- Over medium heat, brown beef and onions and drain grease.
- Blend flour, salt, pepper, and paprika in a small bowl and stir into meat mixture until combined. Stir in cream of mushroom soup and bacon.
- Cook 10 minutes over medium-low heat. Add mushrooms. Stir in sour cream and 1 cup milk.
- Cook 10 minutes until thoroughly heated. Add more milk if necessary to achieved desired consistency. Serve over hot egg noodles or toast.
