Marble Cake
A simple, moist cake with beautiful chocolate-vanilla swirls.
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 tbsp vanilla
- 1 cup milk
Chocolate Swirl:
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf or bundt pan.
- Mix dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, salt).
- Cream butter and sugar, then beat in eggs and vanilla.
- Alternate adding dry mix and milk to the batter.
- In a separate bowl, mix cocoa, sugar, and milk. Combine with half of the batter.
- Alternate spooning vanilla and chocolate batter into the pan. Swirl with a knife.
- Bake for 55–65 min. Cool before serving.
Tip
Top with powdered sugar or ganache for extra flair.
