Ingredients
- 2 cups of peeled Black Eyed Peas
- 2 teaspoons of Salt
- 2 large red Onions
- 1 Scotch bonnet
- 2 cups of water
- 3 cups of vegetable oil
Instructions
- Chop the onions roughly to fit into the blender
- Put the peeled Black Eyed Peas and the water in the blender
- Add the salt, scotch bonnent into the blender.
- Blend until smooth
- When the oil is read, use a serving spoon to portion out the akara mixture into the oil. Fry in batches of 5-6. Fry until golden brown on both sides.
