Acai Smoothie Bowl
Acai bowls from ShakeSmart are great. However, they are pricey without meal exchanges. So, I decided to make them at home! This recipe shows the base ingredient requirements to construct a bowl, but whatever goes into the bowl is completely up to the chef.
Ingredients (1 serving)
- Frozen Acai (3oz – 6oz)
- Choice of Frozen Fruits (Optional)
- Choice of Milk (1 cup)
- Toppings
- Chocolate Chips (Optional)
- Granola (Optional)
- Fresh Fruits (Optional)
- Choice of Spread like Nutella, Peanut Butter, Honey, or all of them (Optional)
- Coconute Flakes (Optional)
- Chia seeds (Optional)
Instructions
- Add frozen acai, choice of frozen fruits (like bananas or strawberries), and choice of milk into a blender.
- Blend ingredients together until fruits are fully incorporated.
- Pour smoothie into bowl.
- Add any toppings desired!
